Founder & CEO
The son of two surgeons, with PhD work in advanced medical devices, Ramin brings the background, knowledge, and passion to disrupt healthcare IT. Ramin lays out Akiva's Vision and strategy, leads the charge.
When not tinkering about healthcare solutions, his explores exotic Sushi and International Cuisine in the Bay Area.

Giulio is a great maker of things, whether they be physical objects or web applications. He follows sound design principles in everything he does: from the UI/UX of Akiva to his hobbies.
In his free time he cooks, photographs the world around him with his many cameras, and works on his bikes, including a custom brazed steel bike frame.

Tiffine is responsible for understanding the end-users at Akiva. Working with psychiatrist, doctors, and patients, she figures out their pain points to develop Akiva’s products. She has a deep passion for understanding how the mind works.
Previously, she was awarded 'Mentor of the Year' by San Mateo County for her service to humanity. She also served as marketing chair for Alchemist Series, a Harvard enterprise entrepreneurship program. Her interests include traveling, humanity work, physical activities and neuroscience.

Dr. Wang is board-certified by the American College of Psychiatry and Neurology with specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, and particular expertise in Bipolar Disorders.
He is Clinical Associate Professor in the Bipolar Disorders Clinic at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry, where he conducts clinical research in bipolar and depressive disorders.
